Production process

Generally, the process route of "blast furnace iron → converter → LF furnace → continuous casting → rolling" is adopted. There are also production methods based on converter direct and pre-melted slag washing, including converter smelting, slag washing and refining, continuous casting and other steps.

H08MnA is a high-quality steel version of H08Mn, which is more stringent in chemical composition control and impurity content, and is often used in occasions with higher requirements for welding quality. H08Mn2SiA increases the content of silicon and manganese on the basis of H08Mn, and has better welding process performance and weld mechanical properties.
