Product Description
H08MnA submerged arc welding wire is a copper-plated carbon structural steel welding wire, mainly used for welding carbon steel and low alloy steel. It is used with flux for submerged arc automatic welding. The weld metal has excellent mechanical properties and is suitable for welding boilers and pressure vessels made of carbon steel and alloy steel with lower strength levels such as 16Mn.
Chemical composition
The chemical composition of H08MnA submerged arc welding wire includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), sulfur (S), phosphorus (P), chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni) and copper (Cu). The specific composition ratio is as follows:
C (carbon) ≤ 0.10%
Si (silicon) ≤ 0.55%
Mn (manganese) 0.55-1.25%
S (sulfur) ≤ 0.035%
P (phosphorus) ≤ 0.035%
Cr (chromium) ≤ 0.15%
Ni (nickel) ≤ 0.30%
Cu (copper) ≤ 0.30%
