The sensor assembly incorporates two reference-grade platinum temperature sensors. One sensor continuously monitors medium temperature (T1), while the second sensor self-heats to maintain a higher temperature (T2) to detect fluid flow velocity. The temperature differential ΔT = T2 - T1 creates a fixed functional relationship between gas flow rate and required heating power, enabling accurate mass flow measurement through constant temperature difference methodology.
