Material & Core Properties:
Our achromatic lenses are meticulously constructed using a bonded doublet design, combining two optical elements made from glasses with different dispersion properties, typically crown (e.g., H-K9L/BK7) and flint glass.

  • Chromatic Aberration Correction: This dual-element design brings two primary wavelengths (commonly red and blue) to a common focus, dramatically reducing color fringing and improving overall image sharpness compared to a simple singlet lens.

  • Broadband Anti-Reflective Coating: Multi-layer AR coatings are applied to all air-glass surfaces. These coatings are optimized for the visible spectrum (e.g., 400-700nm), minimizing reflection losses to typically less than 0.5% per surface. This maximizes light throughput, enhances contrast by reducing veiling glare, and improves system efficiency.

  • High Precision Mounting: Elements are centered, edged, and bonded with high accuracy to ensure optimal optical alignment and performance, housed in durable black anodized aluminum barrels for secure integration.
