1. Material Composition

  • JGS1 Fused Silica: Synthetic quartz glass with exceptional ultraviolet (UV) transmission, particularly in the deep UV range (185-250 nm), and low hydroxyl (OH) content.

  • JGS2 Fused Silica: Synthetic quartz glass with superior infrared (IR) transmission and higher thermal stability, featuring higher hydroxyl content for different optical performance.

  • High-Precision Fabrication: Components are manufactured using advanced CNC grinding, diamond turning, and polishing techniques to achieve sub-micron surface accuracy and tight dimensional tolerances.


2. Key Optical & Physical Properties

  • Spectral Transmission Range:

    • JGS1: Excellent transmission from 185 nm (Deep UV) to 2.5 µm (Near-IR).

    • JGS2: Excellent transmission from 260 nm (UV) to 3.5 µm (Mid-IR).

  • Thermal & Mechanical Stability: Extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (0.55 x 10⁻⁶/K), high thermal shock resistance, and strong mechanical durability.

  • Surface Quality: Can achieve laser-grade surface finishes (e.g., λ/10 flatness, 10-5 scratch-dig) with minimal subsurface damage.

  • Laser Damage Resistance: High threshold suitable for excimer, UV, and high-power laser applications.
