Project Overview
Prefabricated multi storey steel structure construction apartment building located in the Atlantic Ocean near Ghana, Africa.
The ground floor functions as a garage with 3.3m floor height. Floors two to five are apartments with 3.3m floor height, featuring a floating roof garden design at 3.0m height. The second floor includes one household per staircase with separate dining rooms, available in large (290m²) and small (226m²) configurations.
Floors three to five feature two households per staircase, with small units at 78.8m² and large units at 147.42m². The design has been improved to maintain original features while meeting all building code requirements.
Structural Design Features
The ground floor parking area was optimized by adding columns to reduce the original 11.4m span to a more economical 6-9m range, improving structural efficiency while maintaining capacity for 24 domestic vehicles. All staircase corners now feature required load-bearing columns.
First floor apartments feature optimized room layouts with improved structural walls and functional spaces. Original protruding walls were redesigned to be flush with stairwell walls for better structural integrity and space utilization.
Floors two to four feature independent apartment units with corrected room layouts to meet building codes, including proper ventilation for kitchens and structural support for balconies.
