The Deserializer board supports Maxis serial chips, MAX96705 and MAX96701 are both GMSL serializers, which are generally used in camera related applications, especially in car electronics applications more. Although the two serializer are from Maxis, but their parameters are completely different.

MAXIM serial chips are serial communication chips designed and manufactured by Maxim Semiconductor, Inc. These chips are mainly used to realize the serial transmission and reception of data, widely used in various electronic devices.

Max96705 is TQFN32,5X5mm.
Max96701 is TFQFN24, 4X4mm.

Bandwidth
Max96705 is 16bit, up to 1.74Gbps Serial-bit Rate.
Max96701 is 14bit,up to 1.6Gbps.

Transmission Distance
Both of them support 15M full-speed transmission.
