The foam nickel is fabricated using porous open-cell foam plastic as the substrate. Conductive layers can be prepared via three methods: electroless nickel plating, vacuum nickel plating, and conductive adhesive dipping. After pre-nickel plating, thick nickel plating is performed in general nickel salt plating electrolyte. Finally, through calcination, reduction, and annealing processes, high-performance foam nickel with uniform structure and stable properties is obtained.
- Ultra-Light Weight: Specific gravity 0.2-0.3, 1/4 that of water, 1/3 of wood, 1/10 of aluminum, and 1/30 of iron, significantly reducing product weight without compromising structural stability.
- Broadband Acoustic Absorption: Porous structure enables efficient sound absorption across a wide frequency range, ideal for noise reduction applications.
- Electromagnetic Shielding: Blocks approximately 90dB electromagnetic waves with a relatively thin thickness, providing reliable shielding performance.
- Easy Processability: Can be easily cut, bent, and bonded, adapting to diverse shaping needs for different applications.
- Fire Resistance: Maintains structural stability at high temperatures and is difficult to ignite, ensuring safety in high-temperature environments.
- Recyclable: Metal scrap can be fully recycled, aligning with environmental protection and sustainable development goals.
- High Thermal Conductivity: Porous structure retains strong thermal conductivity, enabling fast heat transfer and efficient thermal management.
- Excellent Permeability: Homogeneous 3D network structure ensures stable flow of gases and fluids, with superior filtration and ventilation performance.
- Sound Insulation: Achieves high noise interception and excellent sound insulation effects through additional treatment.
- Aesthetic & Practical: Refined appearance after various processing treatments, suitable for interior decoration while maintaining functional performance.
- Corrosion Resistance: Resists various acids and alkalis, with uniform pore structure and good air permeability, suitable for harsh working conditions.
