Product Description

ERNiCrMo-13 Welding Wire – Advanced Corrosion Resistance for Harsh Chemical & High-Temperature Applications

Description

ERNiCrMo-13 welding wire is a premium nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy engineered to deliver unmatched resistance to extreme corrosion, oxidation, and thermal stress in aggressive industrial environments. With a composition of 58–63% nickel, 20–23% chromium, and 8–10% molybdenum, this filler metal is fortified with controlled iron (≤5%) and titanium additions to stabilize the microstructure against sensitization and intergranular attack. Its ultra-low carbon content (≤0.03%) and optimized niobium levels ensure exceptional performance in sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and chloride-laden media, even at sustained temperatures up to 600°C (1,112°F).

Certified to AWS A5.14 and ASME SFA-5.14 standards, ERNiCrMo-13 wire is tailored for welding nickel-based superalloys like Inconel 625, Hastelloy C-276, and duplex stainless steels. The alloy achieves a tensile strength of 750–895 MPa and elongation of ≥30%, making it ideal for critical applications such as chemical reactors, geothermal energy systems, and offshore oil rigs. Its low thermal expansion coefficient (12.5 µm/m·°C) and high electrical resistivity (130 µΩ·cm) ensure stability in environments with rapid thermal cycling or electrical interference.

Q&A

Q1: How does ERNiCrMo-13 perform in phosphoric acid environments compared to ERNiCrMo-4?
A: ERNiCrMo-13 offers superior resistance to phosphoric acid due to its balanced chromium-molybdenum ratio, reducing the risk of crevice corrosion.

Q2: Can this wire be used for welding carbon steel to nickel alloys?
A: Yes. Its low iron content minimizes dilution, enabling robust joints between carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel superalloys.

Q3: Is ERNiCrMo-13 compliant with NACE MR0175 for sour gas applications?
A: Absolutely. It meets NACE/ISO 15156 standards for H₂S-resistant welding in oil and gas infrastructure.
