Professional heat treatment solution for aluminum alloys requiring precise temperature control and rapid quenching capabilities.
T6 Heat Treatment Process
- Solution Treatment: Heating to 490-540°C (915-1005°F) to dissolve alloying elements
- Quenching: Rapid cooling in water or polymer to lock in solution
- Artificial Aging: Reheating to 150-200°C (300-390°F) for several hours to precipitate strengthening phases
