Always charge your newly working battery before installing it in your motorcycle. Otherwise it will lose at least 20% of its capacity. This will definitely shorten the battery's lifespan and cause other battery problems. Guide:
Remove the foil covering the filler hole. Use only the electrolyte container that came with your battery.
Remove the cover strip from the electrolyte container. You will use this to seal the battery later.
Place the container (with the seal on top of the battery) face down on the filler hole of the battery.
Hold the container and press down to break the seal. You will see bubbles rising up. Keep it in this position until the container is completely empty.
Remove the container when it is empty.
Let the battery sit for at least 30 minutes.
Place the cover strip loosely over the battery filler hole.
To fully charge the battery, charge it at 1/10 of the rated capacity for 3-5 hours.
After charging, secure the cap strip by pressing firmly with both hands.
