Yuasa NP7-12 batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries. They are commonly used in alarm and security systems, emergency lighting, UPS, and other backup power systems.

Yuasa NP7-12 batteries feature Yuasa's proprietary electrolyte suspension system, which uses ultra-fine glass fiber mats to maximize electrolyte retention within the battery. The electrolyte is retained within the separator material, so there is no electrolyte leakage from the battery. No gel or other contaminants are added. The sealed structure combined with Yuasa's proprietary electrolyte suspension system allows it to be used in any orientation without worrying about performance degradation or electrolyte leakage. (Except for continuous inverted use) Yuasa NP7-12 batteries are equipped with a simple and safe low-pressure venting system that releases excess gas and automatically reseals the battery if gas accumulation occurs due to overcharging. Note: Do not charge in a sealed container.
