Product Description
Designed with AGM absorbent glass mat technology, high performance plates and state-of-the-art electrolytes, the batteries offer outstanding value and functionality for all general purpose applications.
How to Determine Battery Failure
- Through charge and discharge test: if actual capacity is less than 80% of nominal capacity
- Measured with battery internal resistance tester: if internal resistance increases by more than 50% compared to initial value
- After full charge: static voltage continuously lower than rated value (12V battery below 10.5V) or significant voltage difference in series group (>15%)
- Physical damage: battery shell swelling, electrolyte leakage, or white crystals on terminals
- Battery not fully charged for long periods or charger indicates abnormality
- Rapid voltage drop under load
Design life: 3-5 years (floating charge) or 2-3 years (cycle use). Plan replacement when approaching lifespan even if temporarily functional.
Important Notes:
- Avoid short circuits - electrolyte is corrosive
- Replace entire battery pack when some batteries fail to avoid imbalance
- Used lead-acid batteries must be professionally recycled
