NEMA PMDC Motors are high-performance 180V 1 hp 1750 rpm electric motors specifically engineered for marine applications. These brushed DC motors feature robust construction and reliable operation in demanding marine environments.
Technical Operation
Brushed DC motors utilize fixed main poles and brushes on the stator, with armature windings and commutators on the rotor. Electrical energy from the DC power supply enters the armature winding through the brush and commutator system, generating armature current that interacts with the main magnetic field to produce electromagnetic torque for motor rotation and load driving.
Mounting Options
Available with multiple flange configurations including NEMA 56C, NEMA 48C, IEC standards, and other custom mounting options to suit various marine installation requirements.
