Modified using glass fibers (30% reduces shrinkage to 0.7%), metal particles, or rubber polymers. Lower MFR (1-40 range) prioritizes impact resistance over tensile strength, with copolymers outperforming homopolymers. Crystallization-induced shrinkage (1.8-2.5%) maintains better directional stability than HDPE materials.
