The fibers are housed in a loose tube crafted from high modulus plastic, filled with a water-resistant compound. This tube is further enveloped by a layer of water-blocking material to maintain cable compactness and waterp-roofing. Finally, the cable is finished with a LSZH or PVC sheath for additional protection.
