High Permeability Non Woven Polyester Geotextile For Soil Reinforcement And Land Reclamation
Good Permeability Polyester Nonwoven Geotextiles For Soil Reinforcement And Land Reclamation
Polyester filament geotextile is a filament spunbonded needle-punched nonwoven geotextile made from polyester chips (PET) through spinning, web laying, needle punching reinforcement and other processes.
Product Features
1. High Strength and Durability
High tensile strength, excellent mechanical properties in both longitudinal and transverse directions, suitable for high load scenarios.
Small creep, stable function under long-term load.
2. Corrosion and Weather Resistance
Acid and alkali resistant, high temperature resistant (-40℃ to 150℃), UV resistant, suitable for complex environments.
3. Water Permeability and Filtration Performance
Three-dimensional pore structure achieves efficient drainage, while blocking the loss of soil particles and preventing pipe bursts.
4. Flexibility and Construction Convenience
The material is light and soft, easy to lay and repair, and can adapt to irregular bases.
Production process
1. Raw materials and process
Raw materials: polyester chips (new material, no recycled material).
Process: melt spinning → airflow forming → needle punching reinforcement → consolidation to form a three-dimensional structure.
2. Technical advantages
Using patented technologies such as twin-screw extrusion and high-speed needle punching to improve fiber interweaving density and uniformity.
Main application areas
1. Civil engineering
Water conservancy: dam scour prevention, reservoir drainage, river slope protection.
Transportation: road/railway subgrade reinforcement, road crack protection.
Municipal: landfill anti-seepage, building foundation reinforcement.
2 Environmental protection and ecology
Pollution isolation, ecological slope protection, vegetation growth protection.
3. Special scenarios
Used in combination with HDPE membrane to enhance the sealing of the anti-seepage system.
Construction precautions
1. Laying method
Manual rolling, leaving enough deformation margin; overlap width ≥ 0.2m, long-term exposure requires welding or stitching.
2. Repair requirements
The damaged area needs to be covered with a patch of the same material, with the edge extending ≥ 30cm to ensure sealing.
3. Environmental preparation
The base layer needs to be solid and free of debris to prevent stones from directly impacting the cloth surface.
Comparison with other geotextiles
| Feature | Polyester filament geotextile | Staple fiber geotextile |
| Raw material | Polyester filament (continuous fiber) | Short fibers (cut fibers) |
| Tensile strength | Higher, suitable for high stress scenarios | Lower, lower cost |
| Durability | Small creep and long service life | Easy to age, short lifespan |
| Applicable scenarios | Complex environment, long-term project | Temporary or low load projects |
