High Density Polyethylene Lagoon Lined with HDPE Geomembrane 1mm 2mm 1.5mm
Product Introduction:
Geomembrane is a waterproof barrier material made of high molecular polymers (such as polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, etc.), mainly divided into:
1. Single material geomembrane
- LDPE geomembrane (low-density polyethylene): thickness 0.2-3.0mm, good flexibility, suitable for scenes with large deformation.
- HDPE geomembrane (high-density polyethylene): thickness 2.5-9.0mm, tensile strength up to 20-40MPa, strong chemical corrosion resistance, often used in large projects such as landfills and artificial lakes.
- EVA geomembrane (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer): outstanding low temperature resistance, suitable for use in cold areas.
2. Composite geomembrane
It is made of plastic film and non-woven fabric, with both anti-seepage and reinforcement functions. Common types include one cloth and one membrane, two cloths and one membrane, etc., with stronger puncture resistance.
Key performance advantages
1. Corrosion resistance
It can resist corrosion by chemical substances such as acid, alkali, and salt, and is suitable for scenes such as sewage treatment pools and chemical waterproofing.
2. Anti-aging and durability
- The service life can reach more than 50 years under light-proof conditions. Austrian research cases show that the stability of polypropylene materials can exceed 100 years.
- Wide operating temperature range (-70℃ to 110℃), adaptable to extreme environments.
3. Mechanical properties
The elongation at break can reach 300%-700%, the tensile strength is up to 40MPa, the tear resistance is strong, and the warp knitted composite structure can further disperse the stress.
Typical application scenarios
1. Water conservancy projects
Reservoir and dam anti-seepage (such as Zhoutou Reservoir uses two-cloth-one-film composite geomembrane).
Riverway restoration and water storage tank anti-seepage.
2. Environmental protection projects
- Anti-seepage of landfill bottom layer (HDPE membrane above 2.0mm is recommended, with bentonite waterproof blanket).
- Anti-seepage of biogas tanks and oxidation ponds (black film biogas tank technology is mature and low cost).
3. Agriculture and breeding
- Anti-seepage of fish ponds and lotus ponds (special membrane for lotus ponds can increase production by 30%-50%).
- Anti-seepage of irrigation channels to reduce water loss.
Key points for construction and selection
1. Base treatment
Sharp objects need to be removed and the surface needs to be leveled and compacted. The slope design is recommended to be 1:1.0 to prevent sliding.
2. Jointing process
Hot-melt welding is the main method. The joint strength must reach more than 80% of the parent material to avoid leakage caused by manual bonding.
3. Protective layer design
- The diameter of the covering layer particles must be ≤6mm (calculation formula: d≤kσ/P, safety factor k is 5).
- Non-woven geotextile + silty clay layered covering is recommended, with a thickness of ≥200mm.
