Geosynthetic Composite Drainage Net 3D Plastic Geocomposite Drain Net For Railway Drainage

 

Composite drainage net (also known as three-dimensional geotextile drainage board, tunnel drainage board) is a new type of geosynthetics, composed of a three-dimensional mesh core made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and a double-sided permeable geotextile. It has comprehensive properties such as high-efficiency drainage, compression resistance, and filtration.

Structural composition

 

1. Three-dimensional mesh core

  • It is composed of vertical ribs and upper and lower inclined ribs to form drainage channels and support structures to prevent geotextile embedding.
  • The material is HDPE, containing carbon black ≥2%, tensile strength ≥36.5kN/m, and thickness is usually 5-7.6mm.

2. Geotextile

  • It uses needle-punched non-woven fabric (short filament or long filament), with a gram weight of 200-750g, a pore size of 0.18mm, and a water permeability of 0.2cm/sec, providing anti-filtration and protection functions.

Drainage capacity is equivalent to 1 meter thick gravel layer, permeability 2500m/d (load 720kPa).

 

2. High strength and durability

Compressive strength reaches 3000kPa, and 60% thickness is retained after creep test (load 1200kPa, 10000 hours).

 

3. Versatility

It has the functions of anti-filtration, drainage, isolation, and foundation reinforcement, suitable for high load scenarios.

 

4. Corrosion resistance and convenient construction

Acid and alkali resistant, freeze-thaw resistant, shortening construction period and reducing costs.

 

 

Main application areas

 

1. Traffic engineering

  • Roadbed drainage: shorten the drainage path, reduce the amount of foundation materials, and extend the life of the road.
  • Tunnel drainage: block capillary water and prevent frost heave damage.

2. Environmental protection engineering

  • Landfill: drain leachate, groundwater and biogas, and protect the anti-seepage membrane.

3. Water conservancy engineering

  • Reservoir and slope protection drainage: prevent water pressure from damaging the structure and enhance slope stability.

Construction points

 

1. Laying direction

The length of the material roll is perpendicular to the road, the end connection is connected, and the overlap length is ≥2cm.

 

2. Fixing and connection

Use plastic buckles or polymer belts to connect every 3 feet, and the overlap width of the geotextile is ≥200mm.

 

3. Environmental treatment

Clean up sharp objects on the site before laying, and protect the membrane from puncture when used in combination with HDPE membrane.
