Polyester uniaxial geogrid has a wide range of applications in civil engineering due to its high strength, corrosion resistance and directional reinforcement properties.

Application

Road Engineering

1. Soft Soil Foundation Reinforcement

· Used to strengthen soft soil foundations such as highways and railways, improve roadbed stability by dispersing loads, and reduce settlement and reflective cracks.

· Case: In the Qinghai-Tibet Railway project, its low temperature resistance effectively copes with the challenges of frozen soil areas.

2. Ballast Protection and Abutment Reinforcement

· Wrap railway ballast to prevent loss and improve roadbed stability.

· Lay on the abutment foundation to prevent vehicle jumping caused by abutment sinking.

3. Asphalt/cement pavement reinforcement

· Lay on the bottom of the pavement to reduce rutting depth, extend fatigue life, and reduce pavement thickness.

Water Conservancy Project

1. Dam and River Reinforcement

· Enhance the anti-scour capability of dams and extend their service life; used for river reinforcement to improve foundation bearing capacity.

2. Slope and Retaining Wall Protection

· Strengthen embankment slopes and retaining walls to improve overall strength and reduce the difficulty of overfilling and edge compaction in traditional construction.

1. Low temperature resistance

· Suitable for frozen soil areas (such as the Qinghai-Tibet Railway) and road projects in cold climates, with excellent low temperature resistance.

2. Landfill treatment

· Combined with geomembrane, it can solve the problem of uneven foundation settlement and improve the storage capacity of landfills.
