General Description
Incoloy 800 /800H is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with good strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization in
high-temperature atmospheres.
A high chromium content gives Incoloy 800 good resistance to oxidation. It also resists many aqueous media and is relatively
free from stress-corrosion cracking. Incoloy 800 has excellent resistance to at concentrations up to approximately 70% and
at temperatures up to the boiling point. It also has good resistance to organic acids, such as formic, acetic, and propionic.
It resists a variety of oxidizing and nonoxidizing salts, but not halide salts.
Typical applications are heat treating equipment, petrochemical pyrolysis tubing and piping systems, sheathing for electrical
heating elements, food processing equipment.

Any traditional welding procedures can be used to weld Incoloy 800 to similar alloys or other metals, such as gas tungsten

arc welding(GTAW),plasma arc welding (PAW), metal inertia gas welding (MIG) and so on. Before welding, remove scale, grease,
mark and imprint.
