Huona Bimetal Strip Telcon 140/5J1480/TM-1 (0.20×14mm)
The Telcon 140/5J1480/TM-1 bimetal strip is a high-precision thermal response material featuring a specialized two-layer composite structure with fixed specifications of 0.20mm (thickness) ×14mm (width). Composed of a high-expansion active layer (Ni22Cr3 alloy) and a low-expansion passive layer (Ni36 invar alloy), it delivers:
- Sensitive temperature-induced bending deformation
- Stable mechanical properties
- Wide temperature adaptation range (-70℃ to 350℃)
With its bright surface finish and excellent dimensional accuracy, this strip is widely used in automatic control devices and instrumentation for temperature control, compensation, and indication functions.
- Product Model: "Telcon 140" (equivalent to Kanthal 135, FPA 223-80); "5J1480" (Chinese standard); "TM-1" (ASTM TM1 compliant)
- Specifications: 0.20mm ×14mm (thickness tolerance ±0.005mm, width tolerance ±0.1mm)
- Equivalent Grades: Kanthal 135, Neomax BL-5, Imphy R80; complies with ASTM TM1 and GB/T 4461-2004
- Manufacturing Process: Vacuum smelting → hot rolling → multi-pass cold rolling → precision annealing → surface polishing
- Bending coefficient K of 14.3×10⁻⁶/℃ (20-135℃) and temperature bending rate F of 26.2%±5%
- 100mm-long strip bends ≥1.4mm when heated from 20℃ to 120℃
- Temperature range: -70℃ to 350℃ with ≤3% bending coefficient decay after 1000 hours at 300℃
- Interfacial shear strength ≥150MPa with no delamination after 500 thermal shock cycles
