HD Mini Camera Module

  • The OV3640 (color) camera chip "sensor is a low-voltage, high-performance 1/4-inch 3.1-megapixel CMOS image sensor that uses the 0mniPixel3 to provide the full functionality of a single QXGA (2048x1536) camera. The OV3640 image array is capable of running at up to 15 frames per second (fps) at OXGA resolution, and the user has full control over image quality, format, and output data transmission. In addition, the 0mnivision CameraChip sensor uses proprietary sensor technology to ensure clean, fully stable color images.

Wide Angle Lens Camera

  • The OV3640 wide angle camera module is a fully integrated 3-megapixel MIPI camera module in a ¼-inch format. The OV3640 mini camera module is based on the new 1.75-micron OmniPixel®3 architecture, one of the smallest commercially available. OmniPixel®3 is designed to focus light onto the sensor more efficiently, resulting in more vivid and lifelike colors. OmniPixel®3’s optimized pixel symmetry avoids color distortion and provides up to 65dB of dynamic range. OmniPixel®3 achieves ultra-low dark current and low defect density, making it ideal for low-light and variable lighting conditions.

-Automatic image control functions: automatic exposure control (AEC), dynamic white balance (AWB), automatic bandpass filter (ABF), automatic 50/60 Hz brightness detection, and   automatic black level calibration (ABLC)
-Programmable control of frame rate, AEC/AGC 16-zone size/position/weight control, mirroring and flipping, scaling, cropping, windowing and panning
-Image quality control: color saturation, hue, gamma, sharpness (edge ​​enhancement), lens correction, defective pixel removal and noise removal.

-Supported output formats: RAW RGB, RGB565/555/444YUV422/420, YCbCr422 and compression
