• OV5640 is a high-performance 5-megapixel (2592×1944 resolution) CMOS image sensor launched by OmniVision. It uses advanced 1.4μm BSI (back-illuminated) pixel technology to provide excellent low-light imaging capabilities and high dynamic range performance. The OV5640 USB camera module uses proprietary Omnivision image sensor technology to improve image quality by reducing or eliminating common lighting/electrical sources of image contamination, resulting in clean, fully stable color images.
