This machine increases sponge tensile strength by 2-3 times and achieves porosity levels exceeding 95%. Compatible with both polyester and polyether sponge materials, it transforms ordinary sponge into high-performance filter media through advanced processing technology.
Sponge material is placed in a sealed chamber where a combustible gas mixture is introduced. Ignition generates high-temperature, high-pressure airflow that travels through the sponge at supersonic speeds, melting closed-cell membranes and causing them to adhere to the sponge's network structure. This process thickens the network and eliminates closed-cell membranes, creating the characteristic open-cell structure of filter sponge.
