Operating Principle
Our grease trap utilizes the difference in specific gravity between wastewater suspended matter and water to achieve effective separation. The system employs a horizontal flow design where oily wastewater enters through the intake pipe. Following the siphon principle, wastewater flows from the bottom outlet into another compartment while oil contaminants float to the surface and are retained in the filter basket for manual collection and cleaning. The treated wastewater then overflows into the sewage network for subsequent processing at wastewater treatment facilities to remove emulsified oils and other contaminants.
