Product Description
ASTM A106/ASME SA106 Gr.B Carbon Steel Studded Fin Tube is a specialized heat exchanger tube with studs attached to its outer surface. These studs, typically made of a different material than the tube itself, enhance heat transfer efficiency in applications such as boilers, heat exchangers, and air coolers.
The studs are welded in a regular formation throughout the tube surface, increasing heat transfer area. This makes them ideal for boilers, oil refineries, and petrochemical applications where corrosive environments or dirty gas streams require frequent cleaning.
ASTM A106/ASME SA106 Grade B is a standard specification for seamless carbon steel tubes designed for high-temperature service. The studded design significantly improves heat exchange between the internal fluid and surrounding environment.
