Product Overview
The BendixKing KN63 is a remote-mounted, solid-state digital Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) receiver designed for aircraft navigation systems. This advanced avionics equipment provides accurate distance measurement between aircraft and ground stations.
Working Principle
The airborne interrogator transmits inquiry pulse signals to ground transponders, which respond with corresponding signals. The system calculates distance based on the time delay between transmission and reception, operating in the UHF band (962-1213 MHz).
