Working Principle
Eddy Current Separation (ECS) utilizes the electrical conductivity differences in materials. A high-speed rotating permanent magnet generates an alternating magnetic field, inducing eddy currents in conductive metals. These currents create opposing magnetic fields that repel non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper) from the material stream, effectively separating them from non-metallic substances like glass and plastics.
