The Eddy Current Separator utilizes high-frequency magnetic field induction to efficiently separate non-ferrous metals from mixed waste streams. This advanced magnetic sorting technology generates powerful repulsive forces that effectively bounce aluminum, copper, and other conductive metals from conveyor belts, achieving superior separation performance.
Operating Principle
When conductive non-ferrous metals pass through the rotating magnetic field generated by the high-speed permanent magnet drum, eddy currents are induced within the metals. This creates a magnetic field that repels the metals, causing them to jump forward along the conveyor direction and separate from non-metallic materials. Separation efficiency depends on the material's conductivity-to-density ratio, with higher ratios achieving better separation results.
