Operating Principle
Material Feeding and Conveyor System
Mixed materials are fed onto a conveyor belt that transports them toward a high-speed rotating magnetic rotor enclosed within a non-metallic drum.
Magnetic Field Generation
The rotor contains powerful permanent magnets arranged to create a strong, rapidly changing magnetic field as it spins at high velocity.
Eddy Current Induction
When non-ferrous metal particles pass through this dynamic magnetic field, swirling electric currents (eddy currents) are induced within the metal particles themselves.
Separation Process
The induced eddy currents generate their own magnetic fields that oppose the rotor's magnetic field, creating a powerful repulsive force that propels non-ferrous metals away from other materials. Valuable metals are ejected into separate collection areas while remaining materials continue along the conveyor for further processing.
