Product Overview
The GSM21 series features acrylic adhesive on PET material, engineered for precise alignment and strong bonding in SMT manufacturing applications. This custom 4mm splice tape ensures seamless transitions between carrier tapes during the pick-and-place process.
Application Instructions
1. Use the cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes. Ensure clean, precise cuts for optimal splice quality.
2. Remove the release liner from the splice tape to expose the adhesive surface.
3. Align the holes of the carrier tapes (cover tape facing down) with the guide indentations on the splice tape for precise positioning.
4. Place both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape, ensuring proper alignment and adhesive contact.
5. Fold over the second strip to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly to create a strong bond.
6. Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splicing process.
