GSM01 Series SMT PET Sharp Angle Double Splice Tape Universal
GSM01 series Double Splice Tapes are designed for joining SMT component carrier tapes. Supplied in pre-cut strips of PET tape, these can be used without additional splice tools or clips. Each piece features 10 embossed dots on either side to facilitate precise alignment with carrier tapes. Available in three variants: anti-static, half anti-static, and non anti-static.

Instructions for Using GSM01 Series Double Splice Tapes
- Use the cutting tool (GSMTL20, GSMTL30, or GSMTL40) to accurately cut the carrier tapes, ensuring clean and precise cuts for optimal splice quality.
- Remove the release liner from the splice tape to expose the adhesive surface.
- Align the cut carrier tapes (with cover tape facing down) with the placement guide on the splice tape.
- Carefully position both joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of the splice tape, ensuring proper alignment and adhesive contact.
- Fold over the second strip to the underside of the carrier tape and press firmly to create a strong bond.
- Remove and discard the clear plastic cover to complete the splice, ready for SMT production processes.
