GSM28 Series Silver SMT Double Sensor Splice Tape is specifically designed for Fuji machines with intelligent feeders. Each size features placement holes that can be used with alignment jigs for precise installation.
Detailed Instructions for Use
Step 1: Prepare the Carrier Tapes
- Use a precise cutting tool to accurately cut the carrier tapes at the desired splice point. Ensure clean, straight cuts for seamless joining.
Step 2: Prepare the Splice Tape
- Carefully remove the release liner from the splice tape to expose the adhesive side, ensuring a strong bond between carrier tapes.
Step 3: Align the Carrier Tapes
- Align the cut carrier tapes (with cover tape facing down) with the splice tape's placement holes, which guide the tapes into correct position for splicing.
Step 4: Apply the First Strip
- Place the ends of the joining carrier tapes onto the first strip of splice tape. Ensure proper alignment and full adhesive contact.
Step 5: Secure the Splice
- Fold the second strip of splice tape over to the underside of carrier tapes and press firmly to create a secure, strong bond.
Step 6: Finalize the Splice
- Remove and discard the clear plastic cover from the splice tape to complete the splice, making it ready for feeding into the FUJI machine.
