1. Adjust cart height to comfortable operating position (900-1030mm range)
2. Position component carrier tape on 2mm or 4mm pitch placement pins
3. Install GSM0700 clips onto the GSMTL60 splicing tool
4. Center carrier tapes with cover tape facing up and secure with clamps
5. Crimp handle to connect carrier tapes, then remove completed connection
6. Apply splice tape strip to cover tape and press firmly to finalize splice
