Features
In the production of disposable paper cups, we first need to punch large rolls of laminated paper into fan-shaped cup wall pieces (i.e. fan-shaped pieces), and then roll them into cup bodies and seal the bottom with a cup machine. PE coating plays a crucial role in it:
- Enhanced sealing: At the seams of the cup body and the rolled edges of the cup bottom, the PE layer can self fuse or fuse with the PE layer on the other side under hot pressing, forming a strong seal. This is the basis of the paper cup forming process.
- Protecting paper fibers: preventing liquid from wetting and softening the paper fibers, maintaining the structural strength and stiffness of the paper cup.
