Features
PLA, also known as polylactic acid, is a new type of bio based and biodegradable material mainly derived from renewable plant resources such as corn and cassava.
Process characteristics:
The basic principle is similar to PE coating, but the process requirements are more stringent.
The processing temperature window of PLA is narrow and extremely sensitive to temperature control. If the temperature is too high, it is prone to degradation and denaturation.
