• Temperature: The extrusion coating temperature of PE is usually between 300°C and 330°C. Accurate control is required to ensure that PE is completely melted, has good fluidity, and can be firmly compounded with paper-based materials.
• Weight: The thickness of the coating is usually expressed in grams. The weight of PE coating on paper cups is generally between 12-22 gsm (grams per square meter).
• Low weight: may result in insufficient barrier properties and a risk of leakage.
• Excessive weight: increases costs, may affect the softness and folding performance of the cup body, and is not environmentally friendly.
• Composite strength: Molten PE is pressed against a high-speed running paper-based material under high pressure, forming a strong bonding force after cooling.

• Mature technology: stable process, widespread equipment, and relatively low production costs.
• Reliable performance: Excellent waterproof and oil resistant effect, stable heat sealing performance, able to meet the vast majority of usage scenarios.
• Supply chain improvement: The supply of raw materials (PE particles) is sufficient, and the price fluctuations are relatively small.
