Manufacturing Process
The coating process is a continuous automated production process:
- Unwinding: The large roll of food grade base paper is placed on the unwinding rack.
- Preheating: The paper is preheated by a roller to remove surface moisture and raise the temperature for better adhesion.
- Extrusion Coating (Core Step): Plastic resin (PE or PLA particles) is melted and extruded into a uniform thin film through a T-shaped die, then coated onto the base paper.
- Compression and Cooling: The coated paper passes through compression devices with cooling rollers to ensure tight bonding and rapid solidification.
- Collecting the Paper: The composite material is rewound into large rolls for subsequent printing, die-cutting, and paper cup forming processes.
