Automatic Dished End Polishing Machine Overview
Trancar Industries TCM steel dish head grinding equipment features a column and boom manipulator system that mechanically grinds both interior and exterior surfaces of steel dished heads. This industrial-grade solution delivers consistent, high-quality surface finishing for various metal head applications.
Applications & Industries
The TCM-D series automatic grinding equipment is suitable for surface grinding of all standard steel metal heads including cylinder heads, vessel heads, tank caps, spherical caps, dished ends, conical heads, and specialized head configurations. It handles stainless steel oval head inside and outside surface grinding and polishing, making it ideal for pressure vessel head finishing.

Technical Operation & Features
The machine creates surface friction through polishing wheel contact with the workpiece, effectively polishing head surfaces inside and outside while grinding weld surfaces to improve surface smoothness.
Advanced Control System
According to head interior surface curves, the system divides operations into three sections with subsection, time-sharing, and different speed capabilities. Beam running time is directly adjustable via three time-controllers in the control cabinet.
Boom up and down running speed is set in corresponding frequency speed controllers. The grinding head follows the workpiece surface contour during polishing operations, utilizing floating technology to maintain uniform contact pressure for consistent grinding results.
