The SZB-80P replaces traditional push buttons and rotary switches with a 7-inch color touchscreen running on a Siemen PLC. We know operators are not IT engineers, so we designed the interface with big, clear buttons and a workflow that mirrors what they already do: load, chop, emulsify, discharge. The difference is that every step can be pre-programmed so the machine runs the same way every time, regardless of who is operating it. For a factory manager, this is peace of mind. For the QA team, it is traceable batch records.

Features That Actually Help

• 3 Recipe Memory: Store knife speed, bowl speed, running time, and target temperature for up to 3 different products (e.g. coarse sausage, fine emulsion, vegetable mix). Switch between recipes with one tap.
• Real-Time Temperature Probe: Stainless steel probe mounted inside the bowl wall reads meat temperature continuously. Display shows actual temp and target temp side by side. The machine beeps when target is reached.
• Automatic Timed Chopping: Set high-speed chopping for 2 minutes, switch to slow-speed mixing for 30 seconds, then discharge. The PLC handles the entire sequence.
• Fault Display in Plain Text: If a safety interlock is open, the screen says "COVER NOT LOCKED" in English, not a cryptic error code. If the motor is overloaded, it says "MOTOR OVERLOAD — CHECK PRODUCT LOAD".
• USB Data Export: Plug in a USB drive and export batch logs (time, temperature, speed, operator ID) as a CSV file for your HACCP or production records.
• Physical E-Stop Override: The touchscreen is convenient, but the emergency stop is a big red mechanical button that cuts power directly. No software between your fist and safety.

We developed the PLC system in-house with feedback from production managers at actual meat plants. It is not an off-the-shelf module that we bolted on. All wiring is labeled in English and routed through numbered conduits. The electrical cabinet is IP65 rated and positioned on the side of the machine (not underneath where water pools). We include a printed wiring diagram and a PDF version on USB. Remote support: we can log into the PLC via TeamViewer to diagnose issues without waiting for a service visit. 12-month warranty, with priority parts dispatch for PLC-equipped machines.
