The HollySys MC Series is a motion-dedicated controller built for complex, single-device automation such as CNCs, industrial robots, semiconductor tools, and specialty machinery. It combines deterministic servo timing with rich motion algorithms to coordinate high-speed, high-precision multi-axis moves while still handling sequencing and logic locally.
Core strengths include a configurable servo cycle (≈125-2000 µs), 64-bit double-precision math, and a dual-core ARM Cortex‑A9 @ ~667 MHz for fast trajectory solving. Interfaces cover EtherCAT (MC1002E) / RTEX (MC1002R) plus pulse/analog servo paths, encoder inputs (e.g., EnDat/SSI/Tamagawa), high-speed pulse capture, and Ethernet with Modbus TCP for easy integration—making it well-suited to laser/water‑jet cutting, robotic cells, and high-speed packaging/print lines where tight synchronization matters.
