Large-Pipe Rotor-X Paddlewheel Flow Sensor (PP/PVDF/Ti, DN250-900)

The +GF+ Signet P51530-P2 is the large-pipe variant of the 515 paddlewheel sensor with a PP body, black PVDF rotor, Ti pin, FKM, sized for DN250-900 (10-36″) full-pipe liquid service. Key specs: 0.3-6 m/s, ±1% FS / ±0.5% FS, Re ≥ 4500, self-powered sinusoidal frequency ~6 Hz/(ft/s) on a 7.6 m shielded cable (max 60 m), PP rated 12.5 bar @ 20°C.

Automation Role – Big-Pipe Loops, Pump Protection & Why P2

Feeds flow-proportional pulses to Signet 8550/5090/8900/5600 or a PLC counter for pump protection, filtration monitoring, totalization, and scrubber/chemical-delivery accounting in water, WW, pure-water, and large-bore process headers. The PP/PVDF/Ti wetted path handles aggressive media, self-powered needs no loop power, and the open-core rotor avoids cavitation—making it the low-cost, zero-ΔP answer for big pipes where magmeters get expensive.
