Product Description

The most outstanding advantage of polyamide 66 fiber is its superior wear resistance compared to other fibers. It features excellent elasticity with recovery rate comparable to wool, while being exceptionally lightweight with a specific gravity of 1.14.

Among commercial synthetic fibers, it ranks second only to polypropylene in lightness (specific gravity less than 1) and is lighter than polyester fiber (specific gravity 1.38). This allows polyamide fiber to be processed into fine, soft, and smooth silk for weaving durable fabrics. It shares polyester's corrosion resistance and is immune to insects and mold.
