Using photochemical etching, we produce burr-free, stress-free parts with micro holes as small as 0.03mm – ideal for rotary and foil shaver systems.
Etching Process Used
Our chemical etching (photo etching) process for razor blades:

Material cleaning – Stainless steel foil is degreased.

Lamination – Dry film photoresist applied.

Exposure – UV light transfers tooling pattern.

Development – Unwanted resist removed.

Spray etching – Ferric chloride removes unprotected metal.

Stripping – Resist removed; parts cleaned.

Inspection – 100% optical checking.
