In terms of working principle, most excavator swing motors adopt a hydraulic piston structure, which has the advantages of high volumetric efficiency and large output torque. Its working process is divided into two stages: oil suction and oil pressure. When hydraulic oil enters the motor cylinder block from the oil inlet, it pushes the piston to extend and press the swash plate, causing the cylinder block to generate a rotating torque. At the same time, the piston on the other side retracts under the action of the swash plate, discharging low-pressure oil from the oil outlet. Through this continuous reciprocating movement of the piston, the continuous rotation of the motor output shaft is realized, providing stable power for the swing action.
