The CA568 is an STS (Standard Transfer Specification) compliant prepaid water meter. This is multi-jet type meter works with a low power motor driven ball valve and shuts off when credit drops to zero and any tamper detected. The meter works up to 16 bar pressure and R160 Class C accuracy class, applicable for typical domestic utility metering scenarios.

The meter operates with a keypad CIU (customer interface unit) which is wirelessly connected with the meter. CIU as extension of the meter, is used for recharge input and information check. Customer buy a 20 digits' token code from the vendor, and input such code into the meter to topup credit. This split design allows the meter to be installed out of customers' reach and greatly reduce the tamper.

Calin prepaid water meter also works with mobile money / payment such as Mpesa, Airtel, Orange. Customers can purchase water credit token at anytime any place 24/7 through USSD or SMS, short codes on mobile phone.
