1.Product introduction

Francis turbine is a kind of counterattack turbine, invented in 1849 by American engineer Francis. The water flows radially into the runner from all sides, and then flows out of the runner approximately axially. The runner is composed of an upper crown, a lower ring and blades. It has the widest range of adaptable water heads. It can be used for large and medium-sized hydropower stations with high water heads and small hydropower stations with low water heads. The development trend in recent years is high head, large capacity, high specific speed and high efficiency

2.Product features

The Francis turbine has a compact structure, high efficiency, and can adapt to a wide range of heads. It is one of the turbine types widely used in various countries in the world. When the water flows through the working wheel of this kind of turbine, it enters in the radial direction and flows out in the axial direction, so it is also called radial axial flow turbine.
It is suitable for the range of water head from 20 meters to 700 meters. It has simple structure, stable operation and high efficiency, but it is generally used in the range of medium water head (50 meters to 400 meters). The output of a single machine ranges from tens of kilowatts to hundreds of thousands of kilowatts. The maximum output of this type of turbine has exceeded 700,000 kilowatts. It is the most widely used hydraulic turbine.
