Product description

Behenamidopropyl dimethylamine is great for smoothing hair, conditioning and reducing static.
In the cosmetics industry it most often is found in conditioners and to a lesser extent shampoos.
Behenamidopropyl dimethylamine is great for all hair types including straight, wavy and curly.
Behenamidopropyl dimethylamine is the conditioning agent we use in our Wild Kindness Conditioners to make them so amazing.
This ingredient is actually made from Brassica Oil
Through the process of amidation, the oil is transformed into a cationic (positively charged) conditioner that helps detangle and calm static.

Product characteristics and efficacy

1,   Antistatic: under acidic conditions, it can reduce hair static electricity, as an antistatic agent for hair products;

2, Plant source, environmentally friendly: obtained by modifying behenic acid of plant source as raw material, it has good aquatic biodegradability and low toxicity;

3,  Good color protection effect: it shows good color protection in color protection shampoo, provides gel effect in hair dye cream, and enhances color strength and color uniformity while reducing the damage caused by hair dyeing to hair;

4, Compatibility: with amide structure, it shows good compatibility with anionic surfactants

5,  Conditioning: exists in the form of cationic surfactant in hair conditioner, compared with other commonly used conditioning agents, it shows superior conditioning, effectively improves the combability, softness and knotting phenomenon of hair, significantly improves the wet combability and dry combability of hair, and gives the hair a soft and fluffy texture.

Formulation Application:

1, Enhances smoothness and softness: In shampoos, Dimethylaminopropyl Behenamide (PKO-B) can make hair smoother and softer, easier to comb, and improve hair gloss and elasticity.

2, Conditioning agent: It is used as a conditioning agent in conditioners, hair masks, and other products, improving hair combability, softness, and volume.

3,  Antistatic agent: Under acidic conditions, it can reduce hair static, reduce friction, and make hair easier to manage.
