Fluoride Online Water Quality Analyzer Overview
This fluoride online analyzer utilizes the national standard method for water quality fluoride determination – fluorine reagent spectrophotometric method. Designed for continuous monitoring of surface water, groundwater, and industrial wastewater, this instrument is particularly essential in regions with high incidence rates of dental caries and skeletal fluorosis for monitoring drinking water sources and groundwater.
Measurement Principle
In an acetate buffer medium at pH 4.1, fluoride ions react with the fluorine reagent and lanthanum nitrate to form a blue ternary complex. The color intensity is directly proportional to the fluoride ion concentration. The analyzer quantifies fluoride (F⁻) by measuring absorbance at 620nm wavelength.
